So sad - a friend reading and commenting on the obituary column:

" X died yesterday of AIDS - well it doesn't say but he was gay. No funeral, just a private internment. His family disowned him when he came out."



My family was devastated by the loss of a favorite cousin/son/brother to AIDS at about age 40. What we wouldn't give to have him back with us today!



On edit - I have it on good authority that some gay men actually die from causes other than AIDS!
