Obama questioned on abortion, why he is a Christian

Albuquerque, New Mexico (CNN) -- An event billed as a discussion on the economy turned personal Tuesday when a woman asked President Barack Obama about his Christian faith and views on abortion.

The question came at a town hall-style meeting in the yard of an Albuquerque home as part of Obama's public outreach to explain his policies and campaign for Democrats in the November congressional elections.

With a recent survey showing that only a third of Americans can correctly identify Obama as a Christian, the president gave a personal account of his conversion as an adult and how his public service is part of his faith. "I am a Christian by choice," Obama began, standing beneath a blazing sun, when asked why he is a Christian...

Obama responded that abortion should be "safe, legal and rare" in America, adding that families -- not the government -- "should be the ones making the decision."

3. Event focused on economy, becomes CNN/Malveaux report on why the President's religion

should be questioned...complete with poll numbers to back up the legitimacy for questioning the President's religious belief. Almost as if, CNN/Malveaux were ready to run the abortion/Christianity story even though the focus of the event was on the economy. It just smells funny.

Note: not a word, not a scintilla on what the President had to say about the ECONOMY...and event focused on the ECONOMY becomes a CNN report about one loaded question--and CNN runs with the loaded question and EXCLUSIVELY the loaded question--but then has polls ready to justify the legitimacy of questioning the President's corporate religious affiliation.

CNN/Malveaux, your corporate media bias is showing and the smell gives you away.
