1. No, but he's got to build an audience...
if he is going to keep his show--not easy for a 10 PM timeslot. So, I can sort of forgive the occasional inconsequential guest.

2. I very much care what Levi Johnston thinks...
As long as we're talking about his Playgirl spread. }(

3. O'Donnell is doing his patriotic bit to being attention to the impending Idiocracy
Levi is definitely a prime example of someone who doesn't have a second brain cell in his cranium. I did find out something new though. Levi is doing his mayoral run in a reality show. And he's so dumb he doesn't mind showing it. Of course I may be late to this conclusion since this is the first time I ever saw him talk.

5. I predict that Lawrence's time of hosting his own show is
not going to be a long one. Perhaps then MSNBC will reconsider and give Cenk a chance.

might be interested

7. There are bound to be some missteps while he finds his footing.
In two shows he's gotten a Biden and a Johnston. I'll give him a .500 so far.

But I don't know that I'd care one way or another what my potential Mayor thought of several of the topics O'Donnell tossed at him if I was a citizen of the Greater Wasilla Metropolitan Area.

15. True, and it was shameless to use the Couic questions
to show that he wasn't much worse than Palin. However, it is pretty sad that he is running when he is still a high school drop out, working to get his GED - with no work experience other than being a nude model. Has Palin's daughter received her GED yet?

10. In a sense O'Donnell wasn't interviewing Levi as much as shining a light on the state of the media.
Edited on Wed Sep-29-10 09:33 AM by Gidney N Cloyd
On edit...
I mean to say, Levi wasn't the subject of the story so much as a symptom of the subject.

13. I think you're right. I'm just saying that...
...that the interview was a way for O'Donnell to point out what the media has become but in a round about way. I'm certain he's too clever to think that Levi himself is a legitimate subject for a serious interview.

12. You might be surprised what Americans care about...American Idol
Surviver..Dancing with the Stars..Jerry Springer...and yes Levi Johnston...However, I do believe that any that might watch his show certainly do not give a damn though....

16. That wasn't the point of what O'Donnell was doing

He asked the same questions which wrapped Palin around a fencepost, and got straightforward answers from a guy without a high school diploma.

I thought the interview was hilarious as a contrast to how Palin found them to be 'trick questions'.

17. Levi came across as smarter than Lady Blah Blah...
by saying "I don't know", rather than trying to sound informed, when clearly he is not.

That alone was worth watching.
