is really a test of how far down the scale voters have sunk. This is a person (and I use the term guardedly) that has NO visible attributes, unless you count making beaucoup dollars off Uncle Sam as an attribute. Coarse, racist, bigoted, anti-feminist, anti-progressive, he's the guy you could legitimately ask "Have you stopped beating your wife yet" to and not be wrong. The worst of the worst. If NY State voters elect this guy, then the standards have dropped so low in this country that there's just no hope for any progressive (or anyone to the left of Atilla the Hun).

7. The New York Times seems to be covering Mr. Paladino extensively...

Big stories, three days in a row. Mention of Cuomo only insofar as he's the Dem opponent. The Paladino stories are not very flattering....but filtered through the good grey bland language the paper employs....I mean, I know there's some merit to covering a new face in some detail..but...well...my paranoid button (easily activated) has popped up a few times.
I know I don't live in New York, but all I know about Cuomo at this time is that he's a high profile politician, a good Dem and Mario's son. I used to know what state office he holds, but I can't even recall that at the moment!
I'm glad I missed the nbc broadcast. I would have wasted my throat muscles screaming at the tv.

I don't watch tee vee, but I can hear it when my dad is watching.
The "reporter" doing the story compared upstate NY to Ohio.
Having lived in both places, there is no comparative factor.

I do live in NY now and will never vote for palladink-head.
