Latest O'Keefe/CNN Scam Appears to Include Felony Violation of MD Wiretap Laws. Again.
Convicted rightwing criminal may also have violated terms of his federal probation...

Convicted federal criminal and Rightwing dirty-trickster James O'Keefe appears to have flagrantly run afoul of the rule of law yet again. This time, he appears to have violated and/or conspired to violate Maryland's Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Act. It would not be the first instance of him having done so.

The apparent violation(s) of state felony laws, revealed today as part of what is being reported as O'Keefe's "botched" attempt to "punk CNN", comes on the heels of O'Keefe's previous apparent violations of the very same laws in MD, though law enforcement officials have yet to hold him accountable, to date, for those previous offenses.

Documents and other material produced by CNN today suggest that O'Keefe secretly, and illegally, taped phone calls he had with CNN's investigative journalist Abbie Boudreau, and conspired to secretly video tape her in a compromising situation, also in violation of MD law.

O'Keefe, who is currently on probation after pleading guilty to a federal misdemeanor following another botched scheme in Louisiana earlier this year, seems to have broken similar laws last year in a number of states, including Maryland, where he secretly videotaped employees at the offices of the community organization ACORN in Baltimore. Despite requests to MD law enforcement by a non-profit watchdog organization for a criminal investigation into the previous apparent violations of the state's felony wiretap laws --- and despite recognition of the "possible" violation of those laws in a number of law enforcement investigations elsewhere --- no action has been taken to date by state officials...

1. This story just gets better and better!
Sick, but awesome!

My first thought was to wonder how many laws were broken with this stunt.

2. What difference does it make what laws
he violated. There will be absolutely nothing done to him. He knows it and that's why he does what he does. He knows the law favors republicans.

Parole is something inmates may or may not be eligible for after a prison stint.

36. Congress eliminated federal parole in 1984, the year O'Keefe was born
Congress eliminated parole in 1984 with the Sentencing Reform Act for a offense that occurred after 01 November 1987. There is parole for offenses committed prior to that date.

6. Republicon Family Values are so frikkin putrid
Ya got your grifters, your wide-stance diaper-sex-with-hookers freaks, your faux lesbian lusters with G.O.P. credit cards, your rentboy luggage handlers, your death-dealing lies about WMDs, your squandering of billions of tax dollars, your tax-cuts-for-the-elite, and skanky vile lawbreakers like O'Keefe & Brietbart.

These are the so-called 'Family Values' the Republicon actually live by and passionately cling to, and they are pathetically wrong wrong wrong for decent human beings.

Have Republicons at last no sense of honor? Definitely not.

12. If they realized that
Then they would have to say they were wrong. Ignorance is bliss with Repukes. My brother calls Rhodes Scholar Rachel Maddow stupid, but yet is willing to put the "hand writing" nitwit as Prez. I just don't get it. If Obama were as clueless as Sarah, I wouldn't vote for him, I would be embarrassed for the party. They have no shame.

this guy needs to be psychologically evaluated.. he is obviously a dangerous delusional nut case with an obvious hatred of women.. especially women of position and authority. it is one thing to be dangerously nuts.. and another to really look and act obviously nuts while on probation..

He will soon find out that breaking the law with impunity, even when backed by wealthy benefactors, has its limits in this country.

I'd be willing to bet that if faced with hard time, he'd be willing to rat out who is actually funding him, in a heartbeat.

55. I'm not too worried about his violation of wiretap laws...
I'll take them if they're the only thing we can put this asshole in jail with, but I'd prefer to use the "attempted rape" statute--the guy's got a boat full of sex toys, he's attempting to lure a female there, you know what he's going to try to do. And since James O'Keefe couldn't get laid with a $20 pinned to his field jacket, the only conclusion is he was trying to rape her.
