plot to warn him/her that 'we might have a problem'. What gets me is why CNN didn't dig deeper into this whole thing when they clearly had a right not only as journalists but as victims, to do so.
Exposing the funders behind these lunatics would go a long way to end their despicable games. The same theme runs through all of their 'projects'. Find a Liberal cause, such as helping minorities, then take and twist it and distort it by pretending to care about the issue, then attack anyone, such as ACORN, who is involved in helping to improve conditions for Blacks and/or women. It is always done by demeaning the targets.
One O'Keefe's funders revealed during the ACORN debacle, is a guy called Peter Thiel, a major investor in Facebook. He had this to say about issues concerning minorities, women and gays:

Thiel's book asks in its introduction. Another representative quote: "Multiculturalists like thinking of themselves as victims far too much to want to end their victimization. They need their imaginary oppressors to
give their lives meaning."
Thiel's book does not spare homosexuality. "Much behavior is being conducted in public, for the express purpose of shocking and offending others. The shock is then called 'homophobia' and is used as evidence of the oppression and victimization of homosexuals." The book (published in 1995) argues against Stanford instituting domestic partner benefits, complaining "even in purely economic terms, the costs are substantial...The end result is something of a random scrambling of people into "relationships," all claiming the right to live off of everyone else."
All of these rightwingers are obsessed with these issues and the success Democrats have had in promoting tolerance and as he says, 'multi-culturalism'. It drives them crazy to think that people they view as inferior, should be given a chance at equal opportunity. So they have devised a way to take on these issues.
They believe they are hiding their homo-phobia, racism, sexism etc. by devising schemes to 'show that Liberals are not sincere about their battles for equal rights'. And in a cynical and overtly, despite their belief they are cleverly hiding their bigotry, prejudiced way, using morons like O'Keefe and Breitbart, they hope to turn back the clock on any progress that has been made, by fabricating 'corruption' etc. within Liberal organizations. There are no ethics involved, no honesty just so long as they can create an uproar and get Liberals on the defensive.
It should have been obvious to the media how bigoted those edited ACORN tapes were. The Shirley Sherrod incident should have wiped away any doubts. But the media ignores the real story behind these 'stunts' for some reason.
A man with money, like Thiel, would use people like the idiot O'Keefe who is more than willing to make a fool of himself so long as the gets attention. The funders stay hidden because no one is willing to expose and challenge them.
