Since Castle would have likely taken many more votes from Coons than O'Donnell (and possibly put the race in play, for O'Donnell or Castle), this is a win win for Democrats, and means we will now very likely keep the seat.

5. It will be a nail-biter, all over the place, but it's looking better. Have
faith-and hope!

3. That's a 100% win. It's Angle, Paul, and Miller we need to worry about. nt

4. Actually Castle only got 5% in a recent poll

Coons was still ahead by 9. This one's ours.

6. True, though I'm sure he would have gotten more if people actually knew he was running.

7. I would still prefer Castle not run. He wouldn't win but could enable O'Donnell
And thing is this - he knows that too.

He will do absolutely nothing to help Christine O'Donnell win. Many of Castle's Independent and moderate democrat supports he has enjoyed for the past 40 years are now voting Chris Coons. Had Castle run as a write-in he would have taken away from Coons, not O'Donnell and there was a far greater chance that O'Donnell could win.

Thank you Mike Castle!
