2 quick questions (newspaper endorsements and senate last day)
1. Has anyone seen any newspaper endorsements yet for any senate or governor candiates?....LAT or NYT endorse anyone yet?..

2. The senate's last day is today until after the election..Is that typical, do they usually go on a recess for this long in a non-presidential election year?..

Thanks

1. Those papers will only endorse candidates in their state and city
The NYT might make some NJ and CT endorsements, since their readership resides in those nearby states.

I don't think there's much question as to whom the Times will endorse for governor or senate, or even house races.
