Colbert: Word 9/29/10 Absolutely great! Eviserates Scalia
http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/360495/september-29-2010/the-word---original-spin

I can't find a youtube to embed. Really totally tears Scalia a new one over his comment about being a strict constitutionalist who only desires to consider the values of the original writers and society at that time. Really well done. Lately I've been really noticing and appreciating the skill and talent and ingenuity that the writers and creators of both Colbert Report and The Daily Show must possess to be able to daily create these segments, with today's or yesterday's news. Unbelievably awesome, they are.

1. Christ, man.
I wasn't even over the visual of Scalia's guts strewn all over the place, and now I have the image of him getting torn a new one, by which I can only assume you mean anus? That's way to much violence and way too many body images than I need this early. I'm a pacifist, you know? How about something like "Colbert is really, really mean to Scalia." I think I can handle that.

5. Well, it's not just Colbert and Stewart, they have amazing teams behind the scenes
creating this stuff. It's amazing what they put out day after day.

4. It was a great segment. But I'm a woman, so my opinion doesn't count
from a strict Constituional viewpoint.

8. Think of the damage from this SC
Clearly, the appointment of Bush-boy was the catylyst for the seemingly unstoppable shift to the right in this country.
The SC then solidified this shift, in the face of a voter mandate against righty politics, by declaring their corporate bosses as individuals. Now we're seeing an absolute flood of money supporting small state wacko's running on the Tea Party party line. This is making total idiots and whack-jobs like Christine O'Donnell into candidates with a legitimate chance of winning.
We all knew that both election rulings were disasterous and we are now living this nightmare.
