Whitman, yesterday, denied to numerous news outlets that such a letter did not exist.

Allred is no showing and reading from the 2003 IRS document, mailed to the Harshes.

Oh my, Whitman's husband wrote a note to the housekeeper at...

the bottom of the letter Whitman said they never received. Ouch.

It is partially filled out by doctor Harsh. Harsh writes a notation on the letter, given to Diaz, asking her to "check on this".

Diaz saw followup IRS letters in the Whitman/Harsh trash in subsequent years.

"Can Whitman say she never saw the letter since it was her husband that filled it out?"

Allred: When Harsh/Whitman were home, they got their own mail. Diaz only collected it when the couple were on vacation.

The press posits that the handwriting may not be Dr. Harsh's. Allred replies she has more evidence to rebut that that she will present if Whitman makes the claim that the handwriting is a forgery.

"Why did Ms. Diaz hold on to this document?"

Allred: "Because people hold onto documents."

Press: "Who reached out to Ms. Diaz?"

Allred: "Nikki was emotionally and financially devastated after being fired last year. She couldn't find a job. She got better and found a lawyer."

Press: "Are you helping Jerry Brown?"

Allred: "This is an attempt by me to help Nikki and people like her. People in Nikki's position have no voice..."

Prss: "Have you spoken to the Brown campaign?"

Allred: "No. No. No."

12. The press keeps trying to throw Dr. Harsh under the bus

Allred: "In all her statements yesterday, Meg said, WE. I'm a former English teacher. Words matter."

Allred: "No comment on the other evidence we have."

I thought it was interesting as they tried to suppress evidence. Who let those a-holes in the room?

A final humorous note--one reporter jokingly asked, "What time tomorrow?" (Referring to Allred's promise to meet again with the press to present further evidence if Meg continues to deny everything.)
