Meg Whitman has spent 120 million on her campaign but was not smart enough to give her housekeeper a severance that would have kept her quiet.

1. Who cares? $120M on a campaign and too cheap to hire a documented worker |
|
Hope she spends another $120M...

|
Rich people are like that.

3. People break the law because they honestly believe they'll never be caught. |
|
And of course, she has the whole overdeveloped-sense-of-privilege thing going on, too.

4. Plus she told the maid exactly why she was being fired |
|
That's just her everyday arrogance.

5. The reason she hired illegal is because she is a CHEAPSKATE |
|
its rather funny that her pennypinching behavior caught up with her in the end.
BTW, are/were her other employees legal? She had a 10K+ sq ft house on property with 2 boys to care for. I doubt Meg and her husband cut the lawn, cared for the pool, chauffeured the boys around.

IRS official said that between 2003 and 2006 they only sent that letter out employers with ten employees with unmatching names and ssns.
This could be fun!

10. I asked myself that very same question |
|
And the only reason I could come up with is that Republicans are cheap basterds.

12. She's actually spent over $140M |
|
and counting. She's going to have to shell out even more to counter the SEIU ads now too. Somehow I'm finding it impossible to feel at all sorry for her. ;)

13. I only wish the campaign could last long enough for her to spend it all! |
|
She is Ahab already and she is now on the whale in full soliloquy: Spend it all Mad Midge. Spend it all! The existence of the "little" people vexes thee!
"From hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee. Ye damned "little" people."
