Republicans want young Americans to pay for the Bush* tax cuts for the wealthy! |
|
While Republicans voted for the tax cuts to expire at the end of 2010, Republicans now want to add more money to the deficit so the wealthy won't have to pay an increase to 39% of their income over $250,000 a year. Mind you that that money has already been budget to other areas, Republicans, who just weeks ago were whining about the deficit, have changed their colors. Just who will pay for the extending the Bush* taxes you ask? I suggest that it will come from FICA payments (your Social Security) and future taxes on young Americans, many of whom will be burdened with college debt.
Perhaps that is why Republicans want to do away with Social Security! They have a better use for that money.
America's choice: Let the adults (wealthy) pay now, or let the kids (struggling with college loans, house payments, saving for their retirement, and saving for their children's college years).
I say "suck it up and be responsible!" The party of responsibility (sarcasm) should do the "manly thing" and let the Bush* taxes expire for the wealthy.

5. I wish that someone would point out that the "tax cuts" aren't paid for |
|
They are borrowed. So we are borrowing (a lot from China) to give $$$ to rich people by keeping their tax cuts.
