I used to fear Rush because he was an edgy, dangerous demagogue who riled up the rabble with vitriolic rhetoric that was just insightful enough to be taken seriously by enough people to affect national policy. Now he's just hateful and bitter. There's no insight, there's no edge, and the only thing dangerous about him is that there are people just as ill as him who still listen. He's gone from being a force in politics to a sidewalk preacher with a signboard saying "Down with Everything!"
