More than 30,000 Americans commit suicide each year, and 5,000 of these people are teenagers.

4. It's an ongoing tragedy, and the fundie counterattack is in effect.

That little 13 year old boy in Houston who shot himself after two years of bullying at Cypress Fair is a good example. Today, the news story was about the vile comments left on a comment page. In summary, they say that the reason children and young adults commit suicide is because in their hearts, they know it's immoral.

Can you imagine the type of mind and mindset that can accept such a thing, much less post it on a commemorative page?
