Kissinger's Regrets
Edited on Sat Oct-02-10 10:44 AM by kpete
According to HuffPost, Kissinger said in Washington this week that

he regretted that what should have been straightforward disagreements over the U.S. approach to Vietnam became transmuted into a moral issue - first about the moral adequacy of American foreign policy altogether and then into the moral adequacy of America."

1. Now that's "Realpolitik" right there.
That man does not change...except that he is no longer a sex symbol.

Even though, the walls, that are black,

at ground level any more.

4. Big Oil and Wall Street = "Rockefeller's Foreign Policy''
The morality part comes in for people who think it's OK to kill, maim and penure another person for a cause, whether economic or political.

Kennedy worked for peace in Vietnam. LBJ and his successor Nixon thought war was the answer.

The divide is still with us today -- both within our party and throughout our nation.

7. Sure, Henry, killing millions of people isn't a silly moral issue.
