The Real Danger of the Tea Party:
I have to say that I think we are wasting our time countering and making fun of the tea party. At least in races where we have a clear win over the tea-party candidate.

The real danger is that the tea party will distract us from countering the mainstream republicans who are, have been, and will be the real danger. Let's keep our eye on the prize folks. We can let the republicans implode on there own but we have to counter the mainstream John McCains and That Orange guy. Forget the tea party when it isn't a real threat!

Really, Really, Really, we can't afford to waste the energy.

1. Some of us are capable of multitasking
With your kind permission, I will continue to point & laugh at teabaggers as long as I see fit. That is all.

3. Yeah, sure but it can't be our prime political focus
We have more serious business at hand. Just sayin' that I do see this as a danger. Think of how many posts on the front page of DU are dedicated to the teabagging idiots.

It's a waste of time - I'm not telling anyone what to do. I'm just suggesting that we stop wasting time and energy and get serious about holding congress blue this November.

7. The Tea Baggers are a big liability to all GOPers. Do not miss this opportunity
to remind local voters what the GOP stands for.

8. Yes, but they do a pretty good job of this without our help
We are in a much more difficult and serious fight and we need to understand that.

9. Anything right of center represents "the enemy" at this point!
Even the "blue dogs" are voting against OUR legislation. We need to consider them all part of the same problem, one not being any less a danger than the other.
