Bowser works to defeat Michele Bachmann

I turned up at Tarryl Clark headquarters on Saturday to door knock to help Tarryl defeat Michele Bachmann. As I stood with the other volunteers, and Tarryl's husband Doug, I recognized most of the people. There was one guy there who looked familiar and had that air of someone who is important, but I couldn't place him.

Then as they started the rally they introduced Bowser. They gave him the floor, and he gave an impassioned speech for Tarryl, for protecting those with less and protecting the middle class. He talked about how this election has the potential for sending a message to the nation about the politics of division. He was great. He said he had been in the district for a week. At the end, he even interrupted and talked about how not to get trapped into trying to persuade the unpersuadeable. Very impressive. He even sang a little pro-Clark song. My only regret is that my doorknocking partner had to get going, so I didn't get a picture.

So if Bowser can come all the way to Central Minnesota to campaign, can you donate just a bit? www.tarrylclark.com

1. Bowser? They should have sung "Goodnight, sweatheart it's time to go"
then he could do his killer bass line...

It's a good song for Bachmann..

7. I just kind of wish
That anyone else would run for Bachmann's seat, even a moderate republican would do a better job. Hopefully with redistricting coming up, they'll change up the 6th enough that its not so difficult to get someone a little more centrist (or even a DFL'er) into office. Its mind blowing driving to St Cloud and seeing all the Bachmann and Emmer signs all over the freeway. Its like driving to a different planet.
