A hold is being palced on its vote...not sure which Senator is doing it. I do know Senator Landreau is in favor of the resumption of deep water drilling but not sure if she's supporting this obscene action. That's the only Democrat I know who may have weak knees on this matter...but a lot depends on how the elections turn out.

DeMint has already declared the Senate closed and is threatening to put holds and use filibusters (remember that dreaded 60 vote thing) until January. You ask whose helping? Firstly, a scared-shit Harry Reid who won't force the GOTB to fillibuster...and for a couple of "moderates" like Nelson and Lincoln...who can assure there's not the 60 votes.
