Mike Pence Absolutely Does NOT Want To Talk About Fiscal Responsibility

http://politicalwire.com/archives/2010/10/03/quote_of_the_day.html

Quote of the Day

"To those who say we should focus on fiscal issues, instead of the right to life, I say 'what is more fiscally responsible than rolling back this administration's effort to expand funding for abortion at home and abroad?' What is more fiscally responsible than denying any and all funding to Planned Parenthood of America?"

-- Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), quoted by The Hill, criticizing moderate Republicans for focusing on "public policy alone."

1. There's always a reason not to talk about Republican responsibility
Even if it means using children as a shield. Well played, Mr. Pence; I'm sure your constituents in Indiana will return you to office for your cowardly ways. More's the pity.

3. ... but in the long run ...
... unwanted children tend to end up needing extra pre-natal care because mothers are young/uninsured/addicted, foster care, head start/special needs education/care and can ultimately end up in the juvenile/prison population ... what are the costs associated with that life path, Mike?

4. WHY do republicans want to always slide under the radar
on providing fiscal relief in real policy for the United States. Instead they want to talk about how to scuttle social benefits for the poor and needy. Looks like their corporate masters have those leashes awful tight.
