I didn't find one word in the USA Today about the
One Nation march Saturday. The Monday following the Beckapalooza didn't it make page one? Does Murdock own that one too?

1. I think we have to give up worrying about the media's non-coverage of our marches.
Or gatherings. If we do it, we should do it because we think it is worthwhile in and of itself. And that's fine. Folks got together with other folks to share their values and their hopes. It's worth it.

So let's let go of ever thinking we'll get equal coverage of our events. There were 1.1 million people at a reproductive rights march about 7 years ago and it was almost ignored by the media...1.1 million! That's when I said "No more."

2. they bumped the article and replaced it with a 15 color pie chart
rating this week's popularity of the Jersey Shore cast.

3. What was the point of it? Was it a protest...or a rally, or what?
With such little coverage, it's hard to know what it was about

5. It was covered in its entirety on C-Span. I thought it was
rather poorly planned. The speakers were not that good, a lot of it reminded me of a grammar school program. Several times they would have a half dozen people on the podium that would just say one word each. They had the best labor speaker alive today there (Richard Trumka) and he only said a few words. The labor leader that did speak was just awful. Beck gets Sarah Palin I would think we could come up with Bill Clinton or someone and how about some good entertainment like Willy Nelson or Neil Young.

4. Gannett has several defense contractors on their board
and their rag leans right. The LTTEs they print lean right also.
