Blumenthal Leads by Double-Digits

With their first debate scheduled for tonight, a new Public Policy Polling survey in Connecticut shows Richard Blumenthal (D) leading Linda McMahon (R) in the U.S. Senate race by 12 points, 53% to 41%.

Blumenthal's favorability rating is 53/39, while McMahon's is the opposite, 39/59.

The only Republican Senate candidates with worse favorability numbers than McMahon were Joe Miller, Sharron Angle, and Christine O'Donnell.

1. May the Teabaggers continue to search their ranks for the most obscure candidates!
And may the rejected American Idol contestants continue to flock to the Teabaggers.

2. You'll be pleased to know RCP has moved that race from "tossup" to "leans Dem" (nt)

3. Hmmm. That's not the MSM headline...
At least not on MSNBC, when I drifted past the TV a little while ago.
They were busy talking about Ms. McMahon's ad saying that Blumenthal lied about his Viet Nam service, how hard hitting it was and blah blah blah.
He's at 53 percent? Doesn't getting over 50 percent in polls generally indicate the race is over?

5. I didn't see the segment your speaking of but I can bet it was Tweety who was whipping up
this bullshit on MSNBC he's made it know he doesn't like Blumenthal. He's the only one talking about how he lied in Vietnam.

4. That's good news
I saw some polls showing the race tightening over the weekend. I'm not sure if Public Policy Polling skews their polls......hope they don't.

I can't believe anyone would vote for Linda McMahon, and I can't see how she could win a debate with anyone.
