Wait a minute Freepers she said she was ME... she's K8-EEE! OMG! A card-carrying ACLU member DU donor and lifelong Democrat!

Fave comment:

"She looks so wholesome, if you have two functioning brain cells you have to know that she is being lied about."

4. They get messages from fonts!
:scared:

I bet they talk about what the voices tell them! And they probably get jealous of one another when the voices pay too much attention to one Freeper and not enough to another!

Don't knock the wholesome look... man alive! I was able to milk that all through high school! No one with two functioning brain cells would blame me for anything!!!

But fonts? Really?

5. I love that I live in a time when a political ad opens with...
"I'm not a witch..."

Well, she turned me into a Newt!

8. Yeah, a system of gov't based on LOOKS!!
Great plan!

Okay, Free Republicans -- think back to your neighbors when you were growing up, your favorite teachers, your own parents, the people you liked at church and the people you looked up to in your community... What did they look like? Did they all share classically "wholesome" features? Were they considered good-looking? Average? Homely? Overweight? Did they act good-natured? Innocent and naive? Hard-edged? Cynical? Were they sweet? Curmudgeonly? Approachable? Moody? And which ones had your respect and your trust? Which ones cared about others more than themselves? Which ones would you have followed to the ends of the earth? Consider that a moment, and I'll bet you would realize that there is no connection between a person's physical appearance or outward "sweetness" and friendliness, and that person's ability to lead others, consider community before self, examine problems from all sides, and make hard decisions.

Don't be fooled by how someone "looks" or comes across on television. That's what their campaigns are hoping for: that you'll "think" with your heart... or your hormones. TV doesn't really impart substance; you as voters need to dig for that yourselves. Read about your candidates, learn all you can about them from non-campaign sources. Don't convince yourself that a candidate's positions are right just because they have a pretty face and you just "want" them to be right! George W. Bush said it fairly plainly: politics is "hard work." You owe it to your party and your country to vet your own candidates and make sure they are right for the job.
