Nearly 50% of BitTorrent users are downloading a TV show at any given time, notes Torrent Freak, citing data from Sumo Torrent. The other most popular downloads are movies (15.7%), games (8.6%), music (7.8%) and pornography (6.0%). The writeup also looks at the total number of available torrents and finds that music (25.9%) and video (24.2%) make up the lion's share of available content, followed by applications (13.3%), games (7.8%), pornography (5.1%) and anime (4.3%).

1. I admit
that I download TV torrents. I don't have a cable or satellite anymore, so I download my favorite shows. I don't feel guilty because I buy the DVDs of my favs when they finally get released.

I don't download music, movies, porn or software.
