I'm tired and I am going to scrub and clean

because I am worn out by the negative discussions here. I have had it for the day and maybe for quite some time. I am a Dem. and I am a liberal but I am so tired of all the negative comments. It appears that if you are for Dems or Obama you get torn apart piece by piece. It is like this is a republican/tea bag discussion group.

I know what you will say, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split ya .............. okay. The door is not going to hit me, I watch the doors.

I guess if one has compassion, you get the door hitting you no matter what.

Why so many threads on the house fire? It was reprehensible! I am losing all faith with fire men and police officers, no one cares and the people don't either.

I am not saying I am leaving DU because I won't. The negative people are turning me off and I am tired of that.

5. I saw what has happened with progressive talk

as certain people sabotaging it and driving off good decent people to the point most of us who do or have done progressive talk feel the market isn't there anymore. Now seems other targets are getting more of them and hoping to destroy any sense of reason to be put forward. Strangely they use the protection of well meant rules and laws to cloak their destruction. That is the state of our nation today and why I am glad I have more of my life behind me than ahead. I truly worry what is going to become of our nation if these people continue to get away with this stuff.

When I first realized that this was not political Nirvana, I was shocked and disappointed.

But it's reality, you know?

Just ignore the stupidity and negativity. You're never going to find a place where it doesn't exist.

I use "ignore thread" quite a bit. It does help.
