Nicky Diaz is speaking about Whitman's claims that she and Diaz were friends.

Nicky says she is "not anyone's puppet" and "Whitman is wrong." Speaking out because she wants people to know who Meg Whitman really is.

Whitman never even acknowledged Nicky's new baby ~~ born while working for Whitman. No card, no gift, no questions.

This is really bad for Whitman.

Gloria now speaking ~~ and she is commenting on Whitman making the false claims that Nicky could have stolen the SS letter. No apology from Whitman about the defamatory remarks.

Other nanny of Whitman now speaking, too, with letter to the paper. Says that Nicky is telling the truth.

That really is beyond poor. You would think that sending a gift with a nice card - purchased and sent by another Whitman employee would have been routine. I am surprised that even if she didn't have any affection for Nicky, just good manners and custom would make this standard.

17. My take was that she was very genuine...

at times very hurt, other times angry and, at all times, her own woman. I was quite impressed.

...she came across as intelligent and genuine...and that no one was using her. Seems like she was VERY offended and was not going to take anymore of the bullshit from Whitman ~~ and I don't blame her one little bit.
