4. Must Be Some Good Acid In Town...
That's the first...and I expect the only time I'll hear anyone wish for his assholiness to run again.

Goota suck to be a "conservative" these days...thanks to this regime's ruthlessness, it's gonna send them to the political backwaters for a decade, if not longer.

Lots of Ron Paul calls...but IMHO, he's not a "conservative"...he's a Libertarian...I know...I interviewed him as the Libertarian candidate in '88.

6. They Sure Have Us Pegged...
Gotta love the Repugnicans who "KNOW" what people like you and I think. No need for us to say a thing, they'll interpret what we "really" mean.

Sheesh...their party is collapsed and all they can do is say what the "Democrats" are doing wrong?

I love the pained look on Peter's face...always makes my morning.

Cheers...

:hi:

10. I've heard the "wish he could run again" before.
It comes up on WJ from time to time. What did you think of that harpy that said that anyone who couldn't afford health care, etc. should just get off their lazy behinds and go work in the fields? I guess the kids whose parents can't afford health care should just get themselves out there and start toiling. At least they're already close to the ground (not so much stooping required). She reminded me of those women out on the golf course in Roger and Me.

16. There are no republicon conservatives.
The word "conservatives" is just their Orwellian way of pretending they are not radicals who spend our tax dollars like drunken sailors, while squandering and trashing the natural world we all depend upon for survival.

There is no one thing "conservative" about them.

11. I was watching the McLaughlin Group last night and either Buchanan
or the fat Brit Tony Blankley made the comment that if the proposed immigration bill passes, Bush's approval rating among the Pukes, would be comparable to Hoover's prior to the 1932 election.

I just burst out laughing and thought to myself, "he's already there"...

Garrison Keillor apparently called Chucklenuts, "this small dim man" last night on NPR. Truer words were never spoken...

13. Keilor's Quote Is Precious...
This is truly "bubble world"...the beltway corporate media elite have totally disconnected from reality as they attempt to keep relevant...and doing very poorly at that.

They truly are walking over the precipice...and I can't wait to not only watch, but to help push!

Cheers from the NW burbs...

15. Hey KharmaTrain, I'll be up your way today.
:hi:

Mr. Wonderful and myself are going to a "cousin's party" in Palatine. Only problem is that the cousin that is hosting it is a born-again fundy preacher. If he starts praising Chucklenuts, I'm going to use Keillor's phrase on him.

We need a Chicago DU meet-up, it's been ages.....

17. Not All Fundies Are Drinking Kool-Aid Anymore
...or should I say they're onto a different flavor. I met a "born again" recently who was cursing booooosh up one side and down the other about how he had been sold out and would never vote for another Repugnican...blah blah blah. But then he says it's cause this country isn't "conservative enough". Hopefully he'll be so self-righteous to stay home next November and really show us.

Hope you avoid all the road construction...294's a real mess...290's your best bet. I keep forgetting to remember to pop in the Illinois forum. :spank:

Looks like a beautiful day for you and Mr. Wonderful...at least the preacher should be amusing.

There definitely needs to be a Chicago area DU get together...it's always the city/burbs problem. Plus, remember, Yearly Kos isn't that far off.

Cheers...

:toast:

14. Hell, he lost twice already - that didn't stop him!
Gore beat his ass in 2000 and Kerry did in 2004.

He'd lose in 2008 but I'm sure his pals on the Supreme Court could make another "special" ruling for Lord Pissypants.

revisionists or are determinedly ignorant of recent history.
I have begun to watch cspin less and less as time goes by.
