6. Thanks for the link :)
FYI, they are unsurprisingly denying the charges: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20018631-503544.html

However, since it is illegal for foreign nationals to fund US elections, I would imagine that the MoveOn push will go through and the DoJ will investigate.

3. I remember how upset they were when Al Gore visited ...
a Budhist Temple.

My how things have changed. But if you can not follow the money, this is where it leads.

5. And they are purchasing Greece, also.
Well, when money equals freedom of speech, money is the only form of speech respected.

8. Being the dominant superpower
leads to getting that money back.

It is not like they are not building a blue navy capable of projecting force, for example.

Skinning cats comes to mind. In the end the cat don't like it by the way.

9. But do they want their money back, or is that loan just leverage...
They have very low unemployment, especially compared to the rest of the world. They are managing to corner a lot of the available natural resources. Shattering our economy would be an act of war, but we can not act as we would if they did not hold our economy hostage.

China is moving aggressively to become the worlds superpower, as the U.S. is receding from that position.
