1. That cartoon explains perfectly why I have no patience OR sympathy
for those who say "I was fooled, lied to, and based my decisions on who to vote for or whether or not to support the war on bad information".

They put us where we are today.

2. And Doonesbury a few weeks back re-ran some strips from 2002 on Iraq
Those really opened my eyes to the fact that many people knew the reasons for going to war were completely bogus. Sometimes it is easy to let the MSM storyline lul one into forgetting.

For crying out loud, Sean Penn and Madonna even knew we were being fed a total lie. The political leaders at that time who actually had the power to stop it but now are apologizing, saying they were fooled, that they still believe they did the right thing "at that time" just because they feared they wouldn't get elected or re-elected, well guess what...

Now tens of thousands of men, women and children are DEAD just because you wanted to get elected and were too afraid to stand-up and protect them :grr:
