Your tv remote control has a "Newt" button. |
|
It's the button that makes the television go silent whenever Newt Gingrich opens his mouth.
On my television, it's misspelled as "Mute", but it works just fine.

3. My wife JUMPS for the remote... |
|
and hits mute for Dumbya, Newt, Wolfowitz, Perle (especially Perle), and Cheney.
She has a Master's degree, but I have heard her saying "La...La...La... I can't hear you!" until she gets the remote and mutes whichever asshole is on.

I either hit mute or start switching channels -- there's something more edifying than those repuke clowns on Animal Planet or SpongeBob.

5. I identify with her completely. |
|
My amazement with Gingrich is that, unlike some of the others in her list, Gingrich is not a complete moron. I expect stupid people to say stupid things, but hearing Gingrich babble and spew talking points is particularly annoying.

7. Gingrich may not be a moron |
|
but he's so full of simplistic excuses and talking points in regards to Iraq. Dodd is making him look like a fool.

8. But then you'll never know if he speaks of his 'Contract With America'... |
|
Of course, it's been long forgotten since, oh, 1995... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contract_With_America(that should provide a refresher)

9. Instead, he bemoans the lack of legislation passed by the House. |
|
He neglects to mention, of course, the pressing problem of rampant corruption in the Bush administration which the GOP ignored for 6 continuous years.
