As an agnostic living in a "Christian Nation" |

I think all of my brothers and sisters are worthy of Health Care...regardless of their finances or personal traits. I also think that all of my brothers and sisters are worthy of basic safety measures ..(Fire Prevention, Police Protection, Food/Air Quality/Water Sanitation standards)......regardless of finances or personal traits.

and this is why the state, rather than charitable organizations, need to be in charge of basic services for American citizens so that these services are provided via tax based upon ability to pay.

I fully and completely agree with your statement.
I also think that each individual should be allowed to believe as he/she chooses. The violent acts and attacks that are being portrayed in this country today under the guise of "Christianity" are abhorrent and make me sick.
