This looks like a job for the INSTANT DUNGEON! |

I had an idea a while ago for some automatic DU moderation. Basically, the software could analyze posts on the front page for which words they contain, and if a word (excluding common ones like "the", "and", "Democratic", "Republican", etcetera) appears in a certain number of front-page threads - say, half - then all the threads are moved to the INSTANT DUNGEON! This would happen until a new instant dungeon is established.
Does this sound like something you would like? It does sound complicated, but I think it's never been attempted before on a message board. It would basically protect the board from getting inundated with one topic, while allowing people who want to temporarily dedicate themselves to the topic to find the threads about it.

3. But what about the Fire Fighters... |
|
we need to discuss that even more.
With your suggestions then everyone could go about hijacking threads to continue the incessant discussions.

4. I've thought of another thing that the instant dungeon might do that might be useful. |
|
It would create an incentive to not create multiple OPs on the same topic, as it would risk that the entire topic would get put into the instant dungeon.
