The US Chamber of Commerce is working against America |
|
that is a good way to put it.
This is actually one thing that is connected to the fire, privatizing schools, and I could go on.
This is the way things are these days... wake up and smell the coffee folks, there are people actually WORKING against you and me.

1. I've noticed that in political ads in CA |
|
They are funding a lot of them, and I do not agree with one ballot measure they endorse.
What's the deal with them giving out a phone number for the office of the person or measure they are bashing? I have this sick feeling this is a technicality that helps them in some way. Do you have any ideas?

12. I think they expect people to flood their phone lines with angry calls. |
|
The rationale being that if you're forced to play defense, you can't plan an effective offense, or do much of anything.

to Americans. In the 70s and 80s the Chamber reached out to form alliances with other nations, like the US-China Chamber of Commerce which Prescott Bush headed for many years.
The GOP is older than Poppy Bush, as well, but, he and his cronies managed to coopt THAT for their NWO agenda, too.

6. SCOTUS was well aware of that when the GOP majority ruled in the Citizens United decision |
|
to allow Multinational Corporations and foreign investors full "personhood" under the First Amendment.
Welcome to America. It's not ours, anymore.
The Dem "liberals" in power and the GOP "patriots" don't even have the guts to pass a law to the contrary. If they did, we could take this back to court and might get a different ruling. F-ck 'em.

That's why I never trust people who fly flags from their cars, or wear conspicuous crosses around their necks. The values they LIVE are almost always the opposite of what they advertise.

19. Again this is MUCH older |
|
than poppy. If you made the argument that they finalized it, correct, but this has a long history... at this point opver 100 years. In fact, well before Musolini came around and created the system... robber barons old in fact.
The US Chamber has always been quite regressive.

26. ?? I'm not saying fascists are different than robber barons. I grew up in Ohio and am quite familiar |
|
with Standard Oil and its business practices - it used to be a must learn back in my school days. Cleveland used to be an extremely important city in this country, with 70% of the entire nation's industry within a 500 mile radius of Cleveland up until about 40 years ago. Just about any Clevelander from my generation could discuss what went down with Rockefellers and Hannas.
