Hey, everybody----LOOK OVER THERE!
The income gap between the haves and have-nots is wider than it has ever been.

The United States and, therefore, most of the world continues to ignore the FACT of world climate change and is making zero plans to convert to a renewable energy economy.

The other major party has been taken over by a faction that speaks openly of using government power to actively persecute homosexuals, "unchaste" single women and "uppity" minorities if they are elected in November.

Corporatism, aka "fascism", has been accepted as a more efficient and, therefore, better, political philosophy than classical democracy by the plutocrats who control our media, our economy and the terms of our "social contract". Thanks to the Citizens United decision, the Republican/Tea Party coalition is outspending us 8 to 1 with funds provided at least in part by China and other foreign nations commingled with contributions of a handful of American billionaires.

Among the campaign statements being made by the Tea Party crew are declarations that virtually all social programs---social security, medicaid, etc.---are unconstitutional and illegal; that our government should have NO PARTICIPATION WHATSOEVER in the education of our children; that there should be no such thing as a "minimum wage" or collective bargaining; and, that rape and incest victims absolutely should be forced by the government to bear their attacker's child.

But, hey---ignore all that bothersome stuff and LOOKY OVER THERE!

Was Rahm "pushed"?
Will Joe and Hillary switch jobs?
Did the President get snookered by Big Healthcare?

Tune in tomorrow for more distractions brought to you by Karl Rove, the Koch brothers and the media whores who read what they're paid to read.

2. Yep I just posted an OP that will effect 100s of 1000s of potentially
illegal foreclosures, or at least they were illegal and as of today are still illegal, but soon the powers that be are about to pass a bill while we are distracted to give the banks the right to screw us all with bogus documents, documents that don't meet the local or state requirements, etc.

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6955YX20101006

A bill that homeowners advocates warn will make it more difficult to challenge improper foreclosure attempts by big mortgage processors is awaiting President Barack Obama's signature after it quietly zoomed through the Senate last week.

The bill, passed without public debate in a way that even surprised its main sponsor, Republican Representative Robert Aderholt, requires courts to accept as valid document notarizations made out of state, making it harder to challenge the authenticity of foreclosure and other legal documents.

The timing raised eyebrows, coming during a rising furor over improper affidavits and other filings in foreclosure actions by large mortgage processors such as GMAC, JPMorgan and Bank of America.

Questions about improper notarizations have figured prominently in challenges to the validity of these court documents, and led to widespread halts of foreclosure proceedings.

3. There is no such thing as a renewable energy economy.
That is why the "Have's" are going to such open and deliberate lengths to swipe every last bit of movable wealth that they can.

So while my children and your children die of hunger and thirst in our freshly dessicated plots of sod their children will be attending the last of the private schools near the last freely flowing rivers on the last of the arable land behind very tall very thick concrete walls with very stupid very violent armed guards keeping US and our HUNGRY families OUT.
