Put more water in the soup 'cause better times are comin'...
Edited on Thu Oct-07-10 10:32 AM by kentuck
Tomorrow, it is expected that we will finally get some good news on the jobs front. Will it be enough to affect the election? Doubtful.

But this may be for real this time? We actually may be finally climbing out of this deep, deep recession. It doesn't help that companies and corporations are reportedly buying back their own stock, at five times the rate of last year, rather than investing in jobs or their present employees. That would be the best thing for our economy but most corporations seem to feel more comfortable with their money in the stock market.

They have grown accustomed to the "easy" dollar. It will be a hard habit to break. God forbid, they would have to return to making money the old-fashioned way.

1. I heard on Bloomberg that Friday jobs data will be flat. The improvement in jobless
claims data today is encouraging. (-11K to 445K)needs to get to about 400k to show decent job growth.

2. Another soup refrence.
I really dislike the 'soup' story, not only should someone not trade for soup, but they also should not demand for soup.

Hence why I don't make deals or demands for things.
