1. Considered that.
I figure if they are going to be taught a lesson with bad effects, same with USA, someone else will do that, I am going to try and support the people that seem, by most reports, to try and care the most.

2. Actually, I can make a better case than Obama
All this crap about "vote for us, the other guy is worse" is the dumbest crap ever.

Here's why a died in the wool liberal democrat should fight to win for virtually any democratic candidate this year (I'm willing to listen to specific arguments, this is a general case). The best thing we can do for ourselves as a country and a party, is to beat the livin' snot out of the Tea Party leaning candidates. It's a one time opportunity. If they win too many elections this fall, it will have a long term/permanent effect on the GOP.

But if we beat them, we can "save" the GOP from themselves. Save them by pulling them to the left. Helping themselves cleanse themselves of this insanity and get back to a true "2 party" debate. A debate that can now be about single payer vs. limited government involvement with healthcare. Not
single payer vs. DEATH PANELS, SOCIALISM, WHERE'S THE FREEDOM, NAZIS!

We can have a debate about proper immigration reform, not immigration reform vs. HEADLESS BODIES IN THE DESERT, IT'S AN INVASION FROM WITHIN, BUILD BIGGER FENCES.

We can have a debate about banking regulation, not a debate between banking regulation and OBAMA'S TAKE OVER OF THE MONEY, GOLD STANDARD, IT'S THE TRILATERAL COMMISSION, THE KENYAN ANTI-COLONIALIST!

We can debate the effectiveness of stimulus spending, deficit spending, and taxation, not WE HAVE TO SAVE THE CHILDREN, HE'S A CLOSET MUSLIM, IT'S A TAKE OVER OF THE AUTO INDUSTRY, RAMPANT INFLATION.

You get the drift. Some times we lose an election and the GOP wins. This time we lose an election, and the GOP goes nuts, and for a good long time I'd guess. With a real GOP party full of moderates and conservatives and all manner of folks, including the log cabin guys, we can have a debate and move the whole country left. With the Tea Party crowd, the democrats will be all reasonable people, and the GOP will be the party of nut jobs.

Go vote, save the GOP from themselves, and the country from the tea party.

3. Giving a five year old blind child a loaded 45 and telling him to shoot
an apple off your head by aiming at the sound of your voice.
