FD threads aside: So Pakistan has sealed off a crucial supply route and "Al Quaeda" is pounding
the hell out of our convoys. Plus, Pakistan says it is "rethinking" our friendship, and we all know how good our relationship with the other two major powers at the Afghanistan border is.

Is anyone in the media asking the, im my opinion pretty obvious, question whether in fact it may not be Al Quaeda but actually the Pakistani military who is currently torching one of our tankers after another? I am no expert on these things, but I have a feeling that the situation got significantly worse for us during the last few weeks. If our alliances AND our supply routes are fubar, that does not sound like we are operating from a postition of power.

2. "Al Qaeda" is attacking the convoys?
is the Taliban the same as Al Qaeda? always thought they were different - Pashtun versus Arabs.

we'll get the fuel there with or without the Khyber Pass. things have to get worse before they can get better.
