More Jon Stewart: "Mortgage Bankers Association Strategically Defaults"
Another link, he just really focused last night on these messes and the hypocrisy of bankers, in this clip, and congress and the fed in the earlier clip.

1. Where's the outrage?
I am reminded that the entire right-wing universe went absolutely bonkers over a private property issue in Lower Manhattan. It would be quite likely that most Americans could identify the idiot "pastor" who wanted to burn Qurans but walk past a serial criminal that has stolen billions from them - John Courson - with only a smile.
That the M.B.A. is even tolerated in this country is an outrage.
Courson, and his gang memebers, should be well-recognized by now. They should be indicted for widespread national crimes - crimes that have greatly contributed to the pathetic economic situation we are all in today.
Working people, who may clean Courson's house, drive his cars, and deliver his goods - should be aware that they are working for one of their biggest enemies. Courson should not be able to walk in public without rebuke.
Do we need a clearly example of the faux-outrage manufactured by the Tea Party, much of it possibly financed by dirtbags like those who run this criminal enterprise that the M.B.A. is?

...if we only had balls in this country

2. Did this story ever hit the real news?

I just did a google on it and see it only on the net .

I know the story is real but never heard of it until this daily show clip.

4. Hence why the Daily Show is the #1 place young adults get their news
even though it's a comedy show. I doubt most young people truly get all the facts, but they certainly get pointed in the direction of what to google next, eh?

3. Mortgage Bankers Association walked away from a $79 million dollar mortgage
just because it went underwater... but citizens should ride out their overvalued mortgages come hell or high water.

Another example of "Do what I say, not as I do."
