Elderly couple says they were terrorized by drug raid

An elderly couple says Cook County sheriff's police on a drug raid smashed into their Southwest Side house late Thursday night, terrorizing them before admitting they had the wrong house.

With her husband already asleep, 84-year-old Anna Jakymek was just turning out the lights when she heard loud noises at the back and front doors about 11:30 p.m.

Her initial thought was that her 89-year old husband had fallen out of bed, but she realized something else was happening when she looked into the front room.

"I see maybe 20 guys come in and see the door knocked open," she said.

Bullshit. They're responsible for every bit of damage they did. This is wonderful lawsuit material.

The "no knock" warrant is blatantly unconstitutional and needs to be ended, if not by the corrupt USSC, then by hefty lawsuits that make it financially impossible for police to do.

And like every other case, the police refuse to pay for the damages to the home.

4. My midnite raid was explained as looking for the battered crying woman.

I was asleep. heart patient. They insisted on busting in the front door. Told me I had no right to tell them no. They said they heard the woman crying from outside. If they claim that it is for a woman, they need NO warrant, or any other logic.

The cop asked who I had in my crawl space. I said NOONE. He insisted. I finally got pissed, and said Jimmy Hoffa. He said, alright smart guy, now we get to search further. I begged them not to trash my rental condo.

As they left, without a disposition, or any other info, I said I would need to check for ghosts, as that must have been the woman crying he heard.

This, likely in retaliation for busting a crooked judge/cop scheme. Got them looking REAL stupid to the AG. They knew me.

As for con rights, you dont have any, till it gets to criminal proceedings, and then maybe any evidence will be thrown out.
