October 11 National Coming Out Day Challenge

This might be a good time for people who haven't come out for equality to take that step.



National Coming Out Day is October 11. And here is the challenge: can we find a way to come out for equality? Find a way to contribute support, our voice, skill, time or cash?

I just located the PFLAG chapter closest to home and volunteered to help with the newsletter. They may not need help and it may be that I'll have to keep asking around a little until someone says yes. I'll let you know what happens.


It turns out that the young people's group affiliated with our local PFLAG is having a vigil tonight in Mountain View. I'm sick of vigils. I don't want to go to another vigil for one of these kids.
