Why do they schedule debates on Friday nights when people are out?

6. I don't think Sunday nights are any better.
Assuming the cliche or generalization, Friday nights may mean that many younger voters don't see a debate. In the fall, a great deal of people will be at high school football games, as well.

Monday-Wednesdays would seem the best nights for debates.

on Friday night. More than you may think. Good for you that you can afford to go out.
