Poll question: Whose presidency is more irrelevant? |
|
The Bush administration has called Jimmy Carter "increasingly irrelevant" after comments from Carter saying that the current administration is the worst in history. So let's just make a big DU effort and tell the Bush administration whose tenure in the white house is the most irrelevant. 'K?

2. Unfortunately Bush is relevant but totally totally wrong... |
|
in any case, what Carter does now has no bearing on how "relevant" his presidency was. I've always like Jimmy Carter and wish to hell he had beaten the Great Miscommunicator Ronnie Reagan in 1980.

3. How the hell is B*sh more relevant? |
|
Carter founded Habitat for Humanity. B*sh has been responsible for thousands and thousands of deaths in several countries.
Guess which one I like better?

4. If you are a corporate oil executive |

It might make sense that you would find Carter's more irrelevant.
But as for the rest of us . . .

5. Whether they won the vote (Carter) or stole it (the chimp) |
|
All Presidents are relevant....they have an impact, good or bad, on the world stage. Irrelevancy would mean they accomplished nothing good, nothing bad, just nothing. That statement would ring false for every President since Geroge Washington.
