Interesting - talking about 'with property comes responsibility' and railing against the USSR for slavery and other nasty things, because the government owned the property and therefore the people.

I wonder what this dude would say in today's America; credit cards, offshoring, and all.

The truth is that property give people rights, and that the only time that they will act as thought they have a responsibility is if they feel that those rights might be threatened in some way. In the end the German version of the Internationale called it correctly when it said "Leeres Wort: des armen Rechte, Leeres Wort: des Reichen Pflicht!" That's how it really works
