A thought just occurred to me... if Osama Bin Laden HIMSELF wanted to
help a certain Senator, Governor, or Congressman to be elected here in America, he could spend unlimited amounts of money to do so, and we wouldn't even be allowed to find out from where the donation came (correct me if I'm wrong). Citizens United indeed.

5. Yeah. Rachel is talking about it right now, and that popped in my head. It's not even just
a good talking point... it's an undeniable fact. And it doesn't even scare me as much as it PISSES me off.

8. The company I retired from is a US subsidiary
owned by a Russian company. One Russian billionaire owns more than 95% of the stock of the Russian company. I assume he could pay unlimited amounts of money to influence our elections through his US subsidiary. Doesn't sound right to me.

the same chilling result. Lather, rinse, vomit.

11. Yup. No doubt. Feel free to use that as a talking point, because it applies.
Although the Pakistani ISI, the Chinese (whatever they call their intelligence agency), etc., would be more realistic.

14. BUT there is a law that it is illegal for foreign nationals and
companies to contribute to our elections. If, and there is an if, it could be found out, people accepting this money could be prosecuted. Look at how they prosecuted banks for funneling money to the Middle East. Now we need to find the money funneled from the Middle East to places like the Chamber of Commerce.

And the reason they do this, is because they know our government will not make a fuss. They are too busy going after people who smoke pot. People who make speeches about wanting peace. The FBI has it's priorities and Mueller is going to be bothered about real crime such as this.

17. Take any huge conglomerate like GE for example a US
company but I am sure they have stockholders all over the world. GE could spend any amount they wanted influencing our elections while a large portion of the company may be owned by people in other countries. Take the company I worked for it is owned by a Russian company. The Russian company is 95% owned by one Russian billionaire but if some of the other 5% is owned by Americans couldn't that company also give unlimited amounts of money? What about these American companies that are chartered in the Caribbean or somewhere to avoid taxes?

18. If Osama Bin Laden Actually Ran As A Candidate...............
He would be for small government, the intertwining of religion and government, the abolition of abortion, the abolition of women's rights, gay rights, and the rights of pretty much every minority, he would abandon science for superstition, he'd be for a huge military and preemptive war, he'd be dead-set against free speech and gun control, he would make reinstituting "moral values" a top priority of his candidacy, etc., etc., etc.

Soooooooo.........if Osama Bin Laden showed up in America and decided to run for elected office.............which Party do you think he'd be a member of??????

They are angry, gullible and full of hate. If it wasn't for the fact that most of them are over 50, there would probably be even more violence here.

32. Yeah, dead guys are probably about the ONLY ones not contributing to Repukes this year...
and even then, I've heard crazier things. Zombies for Rossi. Another good reason to work to keep at least slim majorities in both houses (and to be sure we hold the White House in 2012)... one of those five traitors has to drop eventually, and we don't need another fucking Roberts or Scalito hybrid holding a seat for 40 years...

35. You're Wrong
Dead people contribute to............and vote for............Republicans in OVERWHELMING numbers. Invisible people too. Just like that entire apartment building in St. Louis. Remember that? I can't remember if it was 2000 or 2004, but apparently someone noticed that every resident (and there were hundreds) of a huge apartment building in St. Louis voted for Bush, so they decided to go to that building and interview some of the people to find out why everyone in the building voted the same way. Guess what they found when they got there. Go ahead and say it, you know the answer. A vacant lot.

39. I think the Bin Laden family has already
helped fund one our recent Presidents. Osama's brother helped Dubya start his first business, but even with the Bin Laden money behind him, he managed to fail.

And wasn't it revealed during the 9/11 Hearings that many in Congress were doing business with the Bin Ladens? Many of them were living here at the time, probably still are. I wouldn't be surprised if Bin Laden money has backed a few Republicans already.

Sorry, just remembered that. The whole thing, the terror war, the wars, the fear, the 'patriot games', it's all so phony, and only for the little people. The Rich have no qualms doing business with the 'enemy' so long as it makes them money.

But yes, it is conceivable that Bin Laden could donate money to candidates here. He was happy when Bush won after all.

boogieman that would clearly NOT have America's interest first and foremost as a priority. And SPREAD the word.
