I Angered a Teabagger Yesterday On Facebook
Edited on Sat Oct-09-10 12:52 PM by Tony_FLADEM
I wrote this on the Washington Post Facebook site:

The Republican Party wants to create a climate for job creation by lowering the standard-of-living of the American People so it is similiar to that in China and Mexico. That is the reason the Chamber Of Commerce is spending heavily to elect Republicans.

Then he replied:

Tony, your brain is officially defunct - all that stuff up your nose has gone to your brain. And Obama's "climate for job growth" is not lowering the standard of living for all those who have lost jobs since he came in? Who the hell do you think creates REAL JOBS? (Hint: members of the Chambe of Commerce). You people disgust me!

Then I wrote back:

@Bud - The Chamber Of Commerce supports U.S. companies shipping jobs overseas. You being on their side and then complaining about lost jobs makes absolutely no sense.

Most of the jobs lost under Obama were in early 2009 before his policies could take effect. The U.S. has been creating private sector jobs for 8 straight months just not enough to offset all the jobs lost under George W. Bush.

1. A Steel Workers union honcho was on MSNBC over the past few days, saying
that essentially the COC was contacting these foreign companies saying "Democrats want to bring jobs back to America - this will make your company lose money". Step aside, the dollars came rolling in! The COC's interest lies with the companies, and companies are in it for the profit, not to provide a good living for Americans here at home. :grr:

4. It's amazing how Right-wingers have forgotten......
that the goal of Corporations and businesses is to make profits, not to create jobs. They would eliminate all jobs if they could: Labor is the biggest expense in all businesses.

5. Seems to me the republicans you see visibly on TV look
like they are the ones with STUFF UP THEIR NOSE and oxy in their belly. I guess Rush is a good example. And something sure has a hold on Angle, O'Donnel, Rand and Miller they sure act goofy.

6. I have theory that the things that people use in their insults of others
are exactly the things that they are most sensitive about. For instance, those guys in high school (and in evangelical churches) who are so quick to call other guys "fags" are very often frustrated closet cases. Women who fear criticism of their weight are quick to call others "fat."

A favorite insult of those who follow Rush and Fox, and know very little about a lot of things, is to call those they disagree with "stupid." So if my theory is correct, the writer you exchange with 1) has done some nose candy (why else mention that?) 2) is afraid that his brain doesn't work well, and 3) is disgusting.
