Should DU have a DU Hall of Fame section and a Memorial section?
I made a post a long time ago wanting to honor the DU posters who have passed on. Skinner had promised us that it will materialize, but so far it has not. Hopefully Skinner will find time to put it together - it is sorely needed.

Also, someone mentioned a Hall of Fame for DU - I think that is a great idea. At least in some sort of accomplishments...

That's the kind of questions that Ask the Administrator should live for! :D (can't wait to see ATA again!)

2. Hall of Fame - for what?
Personal accomplishments? OP's? Reply posts? Popular people?

I have no idea what the Hall of Fame would be for.

They would be the first I nominate.

3. DU should be just like America - you're only judged by 'what have you done for me lately'
You can be the most exemplary and go-getter employee for 19 years straight but if after that you get sick more than the allowed number of days you will be fired.

:sarcasm:

4. Memorial, yes.
A Hall of Fame would be a popularity contest so, no.

9. This would be good too...
because it's a pretty clear-cut criteria for being listed.

11. I doubt it will happen...
but it would be interesting. Every once in a while someone will mention somebody that got TS'd and I had no idea!

8. Memorial - Yes. Hall of Fame - No...
criteria for selection to the Hall of Fame would be too subjective. Criteria for selection in Memorial? Not so much.
