Did the Tea Party peak with Beck's rally in Washington?

Looks to me like they, the Tea-baggers, have shot their wad. The parties' over, and now the big money has moved in in force and the result? The Tea-baggers have been tossed aside. Good riddance to old trash as far as I'm concerned but its a much different question as to how everyday Americans will react to a full frontal assault of the arrogance of the rich.

I do not think there has been another time in my near half century of voting when so many people were being convinced to vote against their own self interest.

1. They are still going strong here

Their local leader is running for state rep and having a rally tomorrow. We are going to represent her opponent. I doubt we'll outnumber them.

2. The Jerry Falwell imitation didn't sit well

Lunacy despises a void, but he was a little quick on the draw to try to fill that particular one. He was too hot and bothered to shit on MLK and didn't think ahead.

3. Glen Beck telling them not to dress up or bring racist signs confused them

Beck basically told them they look stupid but he didn't tell them how not to look stupid, so they don't know how to look. Without the visuals they don't look much different than other Americans.

and maintain the persona, as they've found a 'hook' for their lure.
