Another Post on the Florida Senate Race
Edited on Sun Oct-10-10 10:27 AM by Tony_FLADEM
I am voting for Charlie Crist.

If Kendrick Meek and Charlie Crist had an equal chance of being elected I would vote for Kendrick Meek.

However, they do not and this is the reality.

Independent voters decide who wins in Florida and unfortunately they are not voting for Democrats this year.

The fact that the Chamber Of Commerce is spending money to defeat Crist and some Democratic fundraisers are raising money for Crist is enough evidence to tell me he will caucus with the Democrats.

When Charlie Crist came into office, he reformed the voting system so there is a paper trail and he changed the rule that ex-felons had to appeal to the state in order to get their voting rights restored.

This helped the Democratic Party and tells me Crist isn't your typical Republican.

If all he does is vote to make Democrats the majority and thus in charge of all the committees, it's better than nothing, which is what Democrats will get if Rubio is elected.

But it isn't and I won't.

That being said, this election is going to come back and bite us in the ass.

9. That is what the polls Indicate. Rubio has about 45%.
If those Democrats who are open to voting for Crist choose not to because of the polls, then Rubio will win based on perception rather than people actually supporting him.

10. When You Look At The Aggregate Polls Rubio Is Pulling Away
Meek was the sacrificial lamb because the Democrats thought Crist was a shoo in. He was a shoo in until he got Tea Bagged.

6. That's good information about the Chamber of Commerce attacking Crist, goes to show nt
Crist is even to the left of Meek on a few issues. Meek takes $ from the right wing Cuban American PAC.

>>The fact that the Chamber Of Commerce is spending money to defeat Crist and some Democratic fundraisers are raising money for Crist is enough evidence to tell me he will caucus with the Democrats.
