Let's Make It Clear Here Just Who "F--d" You Over! |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-10-10 11:01 AM by DemocracyInaction
The ever dependable "morAns" of America are ready to put the repukes back in power because that "damn big government" is "done what took our jobs away and broke this here country". WRONG. It was 8 years of banishing government from regulating that organized crime group known as "Wall Street". It was Bush shoving us into two wars which he kept off the books (and lined his buddies pockets)and apparently thought that someday the "War Fairy" would come along and pay for it. It was Republican corporate funders who shipped the jobs overseas with no government regulation to stop them. What the "morAns" need (but cannot comprehend) is a strong government which, for once, stands up to these bastards and gets a death grip around their throats for the well-being of "the people". And the "morAns" who watched themselves being fucked over all these years are ready to put themselves back into their rapist's hands---this is one fuck over that they will never be able to recover from.

4. Curt---how old are you??? |
|
I ask that because I've watched this idiocy for decades. They over and over put themselves back into these clowns hands and then wonder why they have a bucket full of snot left after the assholes are in power. At least the older generation kept these clowns out of power for like 45 years!!! Wrap yourself in a cross and a flag and, honey, you can have "your way" with the American people. I think "lack of IQ" and "lack of education" has something to do with it..........

7. It has every thing to do with HATE |
|
Lets face it "Skin Heads" are young people with a new spin on old prejudices. Hate Mongers appeal to these people because they have no future and they know it.
What they don't know is it took 40 years of RATpubliCON failed policies to get to this point

In conservative strongholds, tradition is a big, HUGE selling point. If it has always been a certain way, it will always be a certain way, because it is part of the tradition. Never mind if it is the smart thing to do (it is not). Never mind if it is the right thing to do (it is not). Never mind that it has bankrupted any chances of any kind of sustainable future (it has). Never mind that more and more young people will get sent off to more and more wars (they will).
Dammit, it's tradition. Try to point out the obvious to them and you'll be branded a heretic and get the weird brainwashed glassy eyed "if looks could kill" look before they deck you.
I still say what this country needs is a new Rock and Roll. If you cannot get the parents to open their minds, play on the sensibilities of their kids (before they grow up and turn into dumbasses too) and reach them through music. Play on that teen rebellion in just the right way and make a new generation of Democrats. Rock and Roll was the only chance liberalism ever had in this country.
We need to release a good "dry humping"* dance song with just the right lyrics to take the country by storm and appeal to 18 year old teens. Make it sexy to vote Democrat. ;)
*long story. If you don't already know the significance to that phrase...let's just say dancing must be the new Rock and Roll.

6. Most "MorAns" have no clue what they are |
|
The MorAn brigade is made up of all sorts of people. They are the ones who would vote for Hitler if he had a nice ad and was cute and was on Dancing with the Stars or pushed on Fox News. In other words, they blissfully go to the polls as if it were voting for Dancing with the Stars and year after year have no clue what they are doing. Oh, it also helps when their church tells them what to do...I forgot about that group..........

Perhaps large numbers of Americans no longer possess the attention span or time necessary to understand basic economics and world affairs and vote intelligently?

9. The voters who voted Democratic in '06 and '08 did not become dumb. |

The Democratic "brand" has been successfully smeared, and is held 'responsible' for the economic mess.
The electorate is not any smarter or dumber than it was in the last two elections. The country's IQ remains at 100.

11. Robcon.....maybe I shouldn't say this |

On the one hand, God bless the people who came out in 2008. However, a lot of them came out not because of "policy" or "sick of Bush", etc. They came out with that same "Dancing with the Stars" mentality. Obama was the "happening place to be", the "in thing" and they wanted to be part of history and one big flag waving party night! I had a sad smile that night. I was thrilled but I knew a lot of them would not show up in a mid-term or even in 2012 because now "the new sensation" is just another "yesterday's cold mashed potatoes". Even if unemployment now was at 1%, they just are not going to show up again........and scary to think about it, but they might show up for a Palin 'cause she would be the new thing (woman prez)that is just a "must do".

13. Way too much dwelling on Sharron Angle, Cristine O'Donnell... |
|
....and that Nazi uniform guy and the rest of the losers running distracting us from what is actually going on.
Time to shout the achievements of Obama and the Democratic Congress, especially loud acclamation that TARP and the Stimulus WAS a huge success and is still paying dividends. Big auto and banks paying back those loans WITH billions in interest and saving thousands of jobs. Health Care, Jobs legislation, and more.
And shout out how the Repukers will undo most of what has been done. They have promised to do so.

Edited on Mon Oct-11-10 04:13 AM by jeanpalmer
Bush shoved us into two wars, but did Democrats object? Have Democrats reversed the trend since they won the Senate and House? How many Democrats are making arguments for defense spending in political commercials, and how many are making arguments against the wars? As for shipping jobs overseas, where's the effort to reverse it? When a major airline shipped 1000 mechanic jobs to Taiwan a year ago, did Obama or any Democrat object? How many Democrats do we have to elect before they even begin to reverse these trends? Democratic complicity in wars and trade deals are what turn off many good Democrats. That complicity is going to be a major cause of Democratic voter unenthuisiasm. We're getting raped by both parties, just a little more slowly by one of them. How do we get the message to our own party to quit raping us?
