Two Brewers: Candidate and governor contradict
Edited on Mon Oct-11-10 02:45 AM by saracat
Please take a look at this piece from Republic columnist E.J. Montini. He highlights what we have known all along, that Jan Brewer is full of inconsistencies and is a failed leader. A true leader sticks to her word, regardless of the outcome or audience.

poll numbers are movingin our direction and show that more Arizonans realize that the best choice for governor is clear, and that choice is Terry Goddard.

Thank you in advance for helping us have a strong finish to win in November,

Janey Pearl,
Goddard for Governor

Two Brewers: Candidate and governor contradict

Candidate Jan Brewer hates the federal-stimulus program.

Governor Jan Brewer loves it.

On her campaign website, Candidate Brewer has a long essay under the heading, "Arizona can't afford Obama," in which she calls the stimulus "poorly structured" and "overtly politicized."

On her state website (az.gov/recovery), Governor Brewer has a special "stimulus map" where viewers can check the many locations where federal money is being spent in Arizona.

Candidate Brewer says on her website that "Democrats purposely used the recession as a political opening to redistribute income, reverse the free-market reforms of the Reagan era, and put government at the commanding heights of economic decision-making."

Governor Brewer, on a state website, has a section called "Governor Brewer's Office of Economic Recovery," within which there is a long list of projects in Arizona that are being funded by federal money.

3. Brewer squanders stimulus money
Governor Brewer not only likes stimulus money, she likes to squander it on her own pet projects. See www.minmumad.blogspot.com for details on how she misusing seven million dollars for her Centennial Way project(Are misappropriated funds being used for centennial Way?, Oct 8 post).
