If you were a miner which order would you want to go based on disaster movies |
|
I'm trying to think back to disaster movies where rescues are attempted.
So keeping that in mind, I wouldn't want to go 2nd or 3rd or next to last or even last.
It seems like the person that goes first, gets through. Then the second or third person falls to their death or drowns.
Then a bunch of the people get through quite easily.
And just when you think everyone is going to get out, an explosion or aftershock occurs, blocking the pathway altogether.

2. But life and death are not predictable so it really doesn't matter if you were first or last or |
|
where you were, it is just weather you are lucky or unlucky.

If I heard correctly, they're going to send some guy down first, and he'll figure out who goes when. They he's the last guy out. I can't really imagine choosing to go down there, and then being the last guy to leave.

4. That sure would not be a politician nor a wall streeter |
|
I would say that is just an average man just doing his job the best he can. Those are the people that define the human race and not the ones that try to destroy everything

5. From what I've read, a couple of those miners have a wife and |
|
a girlfriend waiting for them to emerge. Talk about disaster movies!

6. Why would I risk(or base)my life on a movie ? |
|
Seems to be a stupid premise.

7. Or it's just a lighthearted attempt to |
|
connect a real life event with events seen a thousand times in movies.
I don't think anyone has actually been asked to risk or base their life on a movie.

8. Because movies mirror real life so very closely. |
|
All things being equal, you draw straws. Things being unequal, triage. Wounded first. Strongest, the leader, last.
